Sting at the Amphitheatre in Pula

Each summer, the Arena in Pula hosts some of the best international music artists. It is absolutely a unique experience, as you can enjoy the music of your favorite artist inside a 2000 years old amphitheater, where the ancient Romans enjoyed their games and watched gladiator fights. The Arena is surely the most famous and important monument in Pula, but in Croatia as well, due to the fact that is is the sixth largest and one of the best preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world and the only remaining Roman amphitheater to have four side towers and all three Roman architectural orders completely preserved.

The Police frontman has announced tour dates across Europe in support of his latest solo studio album 57th & 9th a few months ago, but the date of his performance in Croatia was confirmed recently. in the region as a part of the 57th & 9th Tour. Tickets for the Sting’s 57th & 9th Tour performance at the Arena are on sale from 7 February 2017. So if you plan on spending your vacation in Pula and you are Sting’s fan, hurry up and reserve your ticket.

Summer in Pula brings many fantastic concerts and events like Pula Film Festival, Seasplash Festival, Croatia Bike Week, Dimensions Festival, PUF International Alternative Theatre Festival and many others. The opening concert of the “Dimensions Festival” will be held in the Arena and famous Jamaican singer and actress Grace Jones will top the bill, joined by Moderat, Yussef Kamaal and Moses Boyd.
