Croatia receives the ‘best vacation value Europe’ award

Travel age west, the renowned travel magazine for the last 40 years has showered a very prestigious award to Croatia. The award does mean a lot, as the magazine is closely followed by the people of United States and also widely read in Europe.

The magazine hands out Wave awards to the one selected out of 110 different people, destinations and companies who reach the finals. This year’s winner is Croatia, as the best vacation value Europe award. There were other countries that came a close second to Croatia. Countries such as Czechoslovakia, Turkey and Spain were left out to a close second.

The magazine also handed out awards to Croatian tourist board offices in United States and their tour operators, namely, Tauck Discovery, Brendan, Trafalgar, Abercrombie Kent, Is ram, Glob us, Cruise liners Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruise and Regent 7 Seas.
