A Delightful and Satisfying Offer for Tourists

The view that tourists have of a destination and the way they recommend to others will always depend on the offers they get during their stay in the destination and also how satisfying and delightful the offer is. The satisfaction of the people comes back to the destination and this is what the Zagreb Gfk centre for Research has given to tourist destinations like Opatija.
Last August the research was carried out and an interview was conducted of 300 foreign and local tourists who were in a paid accommodation for a break of three days in Opatija. The tourists were enquired about on the satisfaction on the offers and besides this the aim of the research was to find what kind of activities did the visitors like to do on the vacation. A majority of around 95 percent sad that they enjoyed relaxing and swimming on the beach and some other people also spoke of activities like sports, night life and other recreational activities. The younger generation liked nightlife and clubs and the older generation liked to go for walks and visit the cultural and historical sites. One of the activities that ranked high was to enjoy the cuisine of the country and the major number of tourists was more than happy with Opatija.
Around 51% of the people were moderately satisfied and 33% were very satisfied. A major part of the people were so happy that they were sure they wil recommend the destination to their friends and relatives. There were many factors which the tourists liked about Opatija like the beauty, the cleanliness, and also good personal security and also the hospitality of the people. The visitors said that in order to maintain the prices the quality of the variety of services will have to be improved in the city.
